SFW.Video earns our income primarily through the presentation of advertisements. We understand that some advertisement methods are far from ideal.
We may attempt to deploy ads of multiple formats in an attempt to obtain the income we need to facilitate our business related goals.

Our secondary form of income comes through the sale of premium accounts. These help us maintain our business model while also allowing users to have a much better browsing experience.

How our revenue is used
Our revenue helps pay for all aspects of hosting and bandwidth. Hosting costs are subject to change rapidly as new demands must be met. We would like to be as transparent as possible in relation to how our income is used.

Main Server: $340 USD
Content servers: $192 USD
Staff: $500 USD
Creator benefits
Starting with the release of our platform, content creators may earn tokens for unique views of their content. Currently earned at a rate of 1 token per 150 unique views. These tokens may be spent to gain premium status. Premium status costs 100 tokens per week.
These values are subject to change with a minimum of 7 days notice via news post.
Additional token earnings
All users may earn tokens by referring new users at a rate of 10 tokens per successful referral. The referral link may be found in the edit section of your profile. This value is subject to change without prior notice.
